Purpose
The purpose(s) of the Student Event Planners Association (SEPA) at Eastern Illinois University is to provide an organization that caters to students who are pursuing a career in the event planning and hospitality industry. The mission of the Student Event Planners Association (SEPA) at Eastern Illinois University is to prepare students in the event planning and hospitality industry, for success, by providing an outlet that allows them to gain knowledge and experience, develop skills, and build a network of relationships within in the event planning and hospitality industry.
