Proposal for Grant Funding and Allocation Program sponsored by the Dean of Students Office

Must be completed and submitted to Student Government Association at least 30 days in advance of the event.

Financial support from the Office of Leadership and Engagement (OLE) will be prioritized for Recognized Student Organizations (RSOs) that demonstrate a sustained record of effective event planning and implementation. RSOs must provide evidence of prior successful programming, including clearly articulated objectives, established timelines, and post-event assessments.

In general, funding consideration will favor organizations that have demonstrated operational longevity, typically reflected in consistent activity over a period of six to eight weeks or longer. New or newly-active RSOs may be eligible for limited or conditional support at the discretion of OLE, contingent upon submission of a detailed proposal and verification of event readiness.

Additionally, funding will be reserved for programming that demonstrably serves the broader campus community. To qualify for financial support, proposed events must be designed to be open and accessible to all students, rather than limited to a specific membership group.

RSOs must clearly outline how their programming will engage the wider university community and contribute to inclusive campus involvement. Financial consideration will not be extended to events that restrict participation, as supported programming must be available to the entire campus community.
