Kuhl Family Scholarship

Description:  Established in 2012, this Kuhl family legacy was established to support students within the majors of each family member- P. David Kuhl- Mathematics, Barbara J. Kuhl- Business, Brandon M. Kuhl- Family and Consumer Sciences/Hospitality Option, and Kelli R. Kuhl Harvey- Elementary Education. Criteria for selection are as follows: The recipient must be a full-time student of Sophomore or Junior status at the time of application, accepted to Eastern Illinois University. The recipient must major in mathematics, or business, or family and consumer sciences with an option in hospitality, or elementary education and must maintain a GPA of at least 2.5. Financial need is a consideration. The scholarship will rotate from year to year in the following order: Department of Mathematics and Computer Science (FY16), School of Business (FY17), School of Family and Consumer Sciences (FY18) and Department of Early Childhood, Elementary and Middle Level Education (FY19). The recipient may only receive the award once. The award will be announced in the spring and paid in the fall to Eastern Illinois University to be first applied against costs (tuition, fees, housing, etc.) associated with the recipient(s) attending Eastern Illinois University.
