Robert and Ann Flick Study Abroad Annual Scholarship

Description:  Established in 2013, the Robert and Ann Flick Study Abroad Annual Scholarship, criteria for selection are as follows: The recipient must be a full-time undergraduate student accepted to Eastern Illinois University. The recipient must maintain a GPA of at least 3.0. Preference for selection are in the following order: a. undergraduate student majoring in English and traveling to Italy through the Office of Study Abroad; b. undergraduate student with a major in the College of Arts and Humanities and traveling to Italy through the Office of Study Abroad; c. undergraduate student majoring in English and traveling through the Office of Study Abroad; d. undergraduate student with a major in the College of Arts and Humanities and traveling through the Office of Study Abroad. Financial need is a consideration. The recipient may only receive the award once. The award shall be announced in the Fall semester and paid during the semester of their travel to Eastern Illinois University to first be applied against costs (tuition, fees, housing, etc. ) associated with the recipient attending Eastern Illinois University. Application deadlines are as follows: October 2, 2015 for SP16 or Winter 16 abroad; December 4, 2015 for spring break 16 abroad; January 29, 2016 for Faculty Led SU16 abroad; March 4, 2016 for independent SU16 and FA16 abroad.
