Faculty Writing Award in European History and World History

Description

The current faculty in History created these awards to honor students for outstanding research and writing in courses related to European and World history. Criteria for selection are as follows: For the Faculty Writing Award in European History, The recipient must be a full-time student accepted to Eastern Illinois University. The recipient must write an undergraduate paper on some aspect of European History for a course taught by a member of the Department of History at EIU. The author of the composition selected as the best paper will receive the award. The recipient must be in academic good standing at the time the award is conferred and at the time payment is made. For the Faculty Writing Award in World History, The recipient must be a full-time student accepted to Eastern Illinois University. The recipient must write an undergraduate paper on some aspect of World History for a course taught by a member of the Department of History at EIU. The author of the composition selected as the best paper will receive the award. The recipient must be in academic good standing at the time the award is conferred and at the time payment is made.The award(s) shall be announced and paid in the Spring semester. The recipient must be an enrolled student at EIU at the time that payment is made.
