Scholars in Undergraduate Research at Eastern (SURE Awards)

The Scholars in Undergraduate Research at Eastern (SURE) fosters undergraduate research participation in the College of Sciences. Undergraduate involvement in research with mentoring professors is a rewarding experience for students. The goal of the SURE program is to facilitate research activities in all departments in the College through an incentive program for students. The SURE awards are awarded to undergraduate students in their junior or senior years. Appropriate student research may be qualitative or quantitative projects in which students gather and synthesize data and which can be written and presented in a poster format. Students who have completed independent studies, research courses, honor these or other scholarly projects are strongly encouraged to apply. Both forms, student and faculty, must be completed by deadline date.
