Established in 2013, this scholarship was created to honor Ronald A. Bouchard, class of 1964, and his successful career in human resources, healthcare management, and teaching. The scholarship will benefit students majoring in Management. Criteria for selection are as follows: the recipient must be a full-time student majoring in Management accepted to Eastern Illinois University. The recipient must maintain a GPA of at least 2.5 (on a 4.0 scale). Preference for the scholarship is to be awarded to one recipient each year. Preference shall be given to freshmen students with involvement in a service organization. If no freshmen meet criteria, the applicant pool opens to sophomore students with the same criteria. Financial need is a priority for consideration. The recipient may be eligible to receive the award again provided he/she continues to meet criteria. The award shall be announced in the spring and paid in the fall semester to Eastern Illinois University to be first applied against costs (tuition, fees, housing, etc.) associated with the recipient attending Eastern Illinois University.
