This scholarship has been established to honor the memory of Lynn Karen Adams and is intended to provide support to students majoring in Psychology who have transferred from a two-year college. Criteria for eligibility includes the following: Recipient(s) must be full-time student majoring in Psychology who has transerred from a two-year college and has been accepted to Eastern Illinois University. Recipient(s) must maintain a GPA of at least 2.75. Financial need is not a consideration. All applicants must submit a written essay on the importance of love and marriage. Preference will be given to a candidate with demonstrated knowledge of and familiarity with customs and culture of the Mediterranean area of the world. The recipient(s) may be eligible to receive the award one additional time only, provided he/she continues to meet criteria. The awards shall be announced in the spring semester and paid in the fall semester to Eastern Illinois University to be first applied against costs (tuition, fees, housing, etc.) associated with the recipient(s) attending Eastern Illinois University.
