Established in 2013, this scholarship was established to support the University in its commitment to attracting academically talented students in the areas of Speech-Language Pathology to attend Eastern Illinois University and to further strengthen their acadedmic credentials. Criteria for selection of this scholarship includes the recipient be a full-time junior, senior or graduate student in the Communication Disorders and Sciences program, accepted to Eastern Illinois University. The recipient must have a minimum GPA of 3.0 and financial need is preferred. Preference will be given to students from Macon County or surrounding counties. Recipients of this award are eligible to receive again if he/she continues to meet criteria. The award shall be announced in the spring semester and paid equally in the fall/spring semester to Eastern Illinois University to be first applied against costs (tuition, fees, housing, etc.) associated with the recipient(s) attending Eastern Illinois University.
