EIU Flute Festival

Join us for this year's flute festival! Attend presentations, concerts, and a masterclass by our guest artist, the Eastman School of Music Flute Professor Bonita Boyd. There will be a competition for high school students -- see below for more. The festival is free if pre-registered by March 20, or $20 at the door. 

High School Competition

The high school competition allows students to pick their own repertoire, up to 7 minutes in length. Please use the registration form linked below, and then mail your $30 application fee (payable to Eastern Illinois University) by March 20, 2020 to:

1st Prize - $150 (sponsored by the Music Shoppe), and a one-half scholarship to Eastern Music Camp.

2nd Prize - $100 (sponsored by Miyazawa Flutes), and a one-quarter scholarship to Eastern Music Camp.

3rd Prize - One-quarter scholarship to Eastern Music Camp.
