The Social Justice Leader Award honors a student who has demonstrated an outstanding commitment to social justice in the areas of leadership and community engagement. This award will honor a student who has utilized their assets and passions to serve as a change agent and made a tangible impact on the university and/or community promoting equity, inclusion, and civic responsibility. Selection Criteria and nominee requirements: 1) Student must have made a significant contribution through participation in campus involvement and/or community engagement. Evidence of socially responsible, ethical and outstanding leadership, either in specific responsibility or during community engagement activities, are indicators of a nominee's qualifications for the award. 2) The student must be in good academic standing with the University. 3) Must be and remain in good social standing (minimal conduct history).
