Knowmia videos can be graded if they are added through Content in D2L Brightspace. You can use the following options to require students to watch a specific video and assign a grade to students based on their activities within the video.
Option 1: Grading the video based on the percentage of the video watched. Points will be awarded based on knowmia's best estimate of the percentage of the video watched. This is the default method (unless you create a quiz in the video).
Option 2: Grading the video by adding quiz questions to the video and points will be awarded based on the percentage of correct answers. Nevertheless, this option works for auto-graded questions, such as multiple-choice questions and fill the blank questions.
You will be prompted with the Grade Reporting option every time you add a Knowmia media via Content in D2L Brightspace.
You can manually create a grade item in D2L Brightspace as you would normally do for other D2L learning activities by using the Brightspace Assessment option.
