Child Care Resource Specialist

CHILD CARE RESOURCE SPECIALIST

The Eastern Illinois University School of Family and Consumer Sciences Child Care Resource and Referral is seeking qualified applicants for a full-time Child Care Resource Specialist position.  Qualifications for this position are an Associate’s Degree from an accredited college or university in one of the following related fields:  ECE, Child Development, Child Psychology/Behavioral Sciences, Family Consumer Sciences, Social Work, Elementary Education, Child Welfare, or Family Services)  or an Associate’s Degree and a minimum of two years of experience ECE.   

Responsibilities may include/but are not limited to managing assigned caseloads, meeting with clients and/or parents, data entry, review paperwork, assist parent/guardian with childcare consumer education and referrals.

The Civil Service examination for this position is a credentials assessment.  No participation other than the submission of application materials is required from qualified applicants.
