Notice of Membership Intake

This form must be submitted prior to any informational/interest/rush meeting.

Without the submission of the required paperwork and submission of Notice of Membership Intake, intake will not be approved. In the event that intake activities begin without the knowledge and approval from the Interim Director of Fraternity and Sorority Programs, and/or the chapter has not adhered to the written Membership Intake Guidelines, intake activities will cease and desist immediately and they chapter may be placed on suspension. These sanctions will be administered appropriately at the discretion of the Interim Director for Fraternity and Sorority Programs.

Candidate Intake Requirements:
-Must have a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.50 to be eligible to join a fraternity/sorority.
-For students with established GPA's at EIU, that will be used to determine eligibility.
-For new students, or transfer students eligibility will be determined by the grade point average from their most recent institution (high school or college).
