The purpose of the EIU Fraternity and Sorority Programs Excellence Awards is to recognize chapters and members for their dedication, success, and improvements within the EIU fraternity and sorority community. The goals of the award program are to support and incorporate the ideals and goals of the overall community: scholarship, personal development, leadership, service, growth, and chapter management.
All individuals and chapters can be nominated by themselves or by other members of the fraternity/sorority community, advisors, faculty, staff, and alumni. Please check the individual criteria for the specific award for further information on nominations.
An award review committee of faculty, staff, graduate assistant staff, and a select group of your peers may review applications and awards will be announced at the 2018 Fraternity and Sorority Excellence Awards Celebration on Sunday, April 25, 2021. The awards are divided into two groups: Individual Awards and Chapter Excellence Awards. Chapters will compete against other chapters within their councils.
All applications for the Fraternity & Sorority awards ceremony can be found online this year. Anyone may submit an entry. If you have any questions, please contact Nathan Wehr.
