The Graduate Student Advisory Council, the Council on Graduate Studies and The Graduate School will be sponsoring the 2022 Graduate Student Exposition during the month of April, 2022. The week will include the Distinguished Graduate Student Awards Ceremony on Wednesday, April 20, in the Dvorak Concert Hall at the Doudna Fine Arts Center.
Distinguished Graduate Student Awards Ceremony will recognize those students who have achieved excellence in graduate scholarship for the 2021-2022 academic year. The ceremony also recognizes the Williams Travel Grant winners, Distinguished Master’s Thesis Award winner, King-Mertz Research/Creative Activity Award winner, the Distinguished Graduate Student Award, and the prestigious Hamand Scholars. Graduate students will be displaying their research posters and digital presentations in the main concourse of the Doudna Fine Arts Center before the ceremony. All students, faculty, staff, and community members are welcome and encouraged to attend this event .
The Graduate Expo Research Poster and Digital Presentation Exhibit will take place in the main concourse of the Doudna Fine Arts Center starting at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday, April 20, 2022. Easels will be provided for posters and posters can be dropped off starting at 1:00 pm. Tables for digital presentations will be made available.
Students will be responsible for the security of equipment; it is not recommended to set up digital presentations before 3:30 p.m. Students are encouraged to be present with their research exhibit in the hour before the Distinguished Graduate Student Ceremony on that afternoon (3:30 p.m. - 4:30 p.m.)
The deadline for submission for the Poster and Digital Presentation is April 15, 2022. Students interested in exhibiting a poster or digital presentation at the Awards Ceremony need to register by clicking here.
