Lu Ding is an Instructional Designer in the Faculty Development and Innovation Center at Eastern Illinois University. Lu's main career goal is to bring active learning into everyday classrooms in the format of either f2f or online classes. Before joining the FDIC team, Lu worked as a postdoctoral research associate at Arizona State University for more than two years focusing on designing and investigating learning approaches that can promote deep learning. When she is not working, you might find Lu drawing or designing graphics, traveling, or simply hanging out with her awesome dog.

Office hours: 8:00 am to 12:00 pm | 1:00 pm to 4:30pm (Monday thru Friday)
