Facilitator: Julie Lockett
Location: Online
In this webinar, Julie Lockett demonstrated how Video Note in D2L Brightspace could be used to create and post a video message for students in a news announcement within a course without special software or the need to download, upload, and link to video files. She also demonstrated how to provide a video overview of a content module or an assignment for students. With Video Note, students can introduce themselves in a discussion forum by posting a video introduction. Instructors can also provide assignment feedback for students as a video note instead of typing comments. With Video Note, instructors and students can record a video note anywhere that they have access to the HTML editor within a course (news, content, discussions, dropbox folders, quizzes, grades, feedback, and more). The only equipment needed is a computer, webcam, and microphone.
