How to Email Entire Class in Panthermail

To email entire class using Panthermail:

  1. Log in to PAWS at http://eiu.edu/paws
  2. Select “Faculty Services” then “Summary Classlist”
  3. Select the current term from the drop-down list and “Submit”
  4. Select the course from the drop-down list and “Submit”
  5. Scroll down to the bottom of the roster and select “Display Email List”
  6. Scroll back down to the Class List Email Listing, highlight then copy the email list.
    • You can highlight by triple clicking the email list within the box or click and drag your mouse/cursor to highlight all addresses.
    • Once highlighted, you can copy the list by select Ctrl + C (Windows) or Command + C (Mac) on your keyboard.
  7. Log in to Panthermail at https://www.eiu.edu/panthermail and select “New message”
  8. Select “Bcc” and paste the email addresses in the Bcc box.
    (By inserting the student’s email addresses in the Bcc, you are protecting the security and privacy of the students.)
    • You can paste the list by selecting Ctrl + V (Windows) or Command + V (Mac) on your keyboard.
  9. Enter your email address on the “To” line.
  10. Type your subject and message then select “Send”
