Are you interested in working with individuals and families? The courses in the School of Family and Consumer Sciences provide the foundation for challenging careers.  As a student you can benefit from excellent classroom instruction by our faculty as you complete your Bachelor of Science degree. You will be advised by one of our School of Family and Consumer Sciences Advisors.

Undergraduate Programs

Concentration in Apparel and Textile Design

This Concentration includes the print and textile design minor and prepares students for careers in product design, apparel development and textile industries. Click here for more information on this program.

Concentration in Merchandising

This concentration prepares students for careers in retail store management, purchase and allocate inventories, direct visual merchandising teams, and represent branded products. Click here for more information on this program.

Concentration in Financial Literacy

This Concentration includes a Business Administration minor and prepares students for careers in consumer services, government agencies and financial areas. Each concentration provides students with the knowledge and practical hands- on experience to prepare students to be competitive in the workplace. Click here for more information on this program.

Concentration in Hospitality

Courses include Food Sanitation, Lodging Operations, Dining Room Management, and Destination Management. Possible careers include hotel management, resort and club operations, food and beverage management, and conference planning. This option includes a Business Administration minor. Option in Dietetics
