Prosecution
The prosecution relied on testimony give by Louis Wiechmann and John Lloyd both who testified against Mary Surratt. Both repeated their testimony for John Surratt's trial but gave very few new details. District Attorney Edward C. Carrington and Edward Pierrepont had thirteen witnesses prepared to testify. These witnesses were mostly people who testified against the conspirators in their trial.
