2026 Annual Bonine Suicide Prevention Conference Registration

The Eastern Illinois University Counseling Clinic is hosting the annual Thomas A. Bonine Suicide Prevention Conference on Friday, April 10, 2026. It will be held in the Martin Luther King Union 3rd Floor.

Check-in and breakfast will open at 8:00am, with announcements and introductions beginning at 8:30am. Sally Spencer-Thomas the keynote, will begin immediately following announcements at about 8:40am. Breakout sessions will follow. A lunch break will be from 12:20pm to 1:30pm, with the conference concluding at 4:30pm.

Attendance will be noted and CEUs provided accordingly. **To ensure you receive CEUs for the sessions you attend, please be sure to sign each sign-in sheet at the conclusion of the sessions and complete the post test for each session. CEUs will be available for Licensed Clinical Professional Counselors (LCPC), Social Workers (LCSW), and Health Educators (CHES/MCHES). Following the conference, your CEU certificate will be sent to the email you list on this registration form.

All individuals who would like to attend, must register no later than April 9th, 2026 at noon. Capacity may be limited. Please contact the Counseling Clinic (217-581-3413) with questions.
