From posting your syllabus in D2L to creating a fully online course, the COL can assist you with course design/development and with uploading content to your course in D2L.
Services available include:
Course Templates - Course templates are available to provide the organizational structure for your content in D2L.
Course Conversion - Load/Copy courses in D2L.
Course Creation - Assist instructor with design and development.
Course Content - Upload and organize content in D2L.
Question Database – Upload question database from test bank or word document and initial Quiz setup.
Grade Book – Setup grade book in D2L including support for final grade submission and rubric creation.
Online Rooms – Setup online rooms in D2L and provide support for Blackboard Collaborate.
Steps for requesting online course development support:
Step 1: Contact the Director of the COL to schedule a consultation appointment.
Step 2: Provide the Content.
Step 3: The COL staff publishes the content to your D2L course according to your specifications.
Requirement: The instructor must agree to allow the Director of the COL to add a COL graduate assistant to the course in D2L with instructor access to complete the requested tasks.
Availability: The COL staff will attempt to accommodate all requests but services are subject to the availability of the COL graduate assistants and the number of requests submitted.
