Qualifications: The COE Alumni Awards are presented to EIU Alumni whose degree is in a program within the College of Education - Rising Star: The recipients of this award are within 10 years of graduation from EIU. They must have excelled in their field or in the career for which the COE degree prepared them. - Leadership and Service: The recipients of this award have had a significant impact in their chosen field, community, or society. -Lifetime Achievement: The recipients of this award have attained distinguished professional success and prominence. These honorees are living role models in their disciplines within the College of Education. -Friend of the College Award: The recipients of this award are not a graduate of COE but show dedication and commitment of service to the College.
