This form should be used by faculty members who seek grants from the Eastern Illinois University Foundation to provide assistance in funding their research or instructional activity for the improvement of undergraduate instruction. Awards are limited to a maximum of $1,750.00. Faculty members may apply for up to two Redden Grants. Application forms are to be submitted by May 17, 2024 to allow time for prioritization at the department and college level. Redden Grants awarded in FY25 must be spent by June 30, 2025. Unspent monies will be returned so that additional faculty members can benefit from Redden Grants. Funds from Redden Grants may only be used for expenses directly associated with the specific project and timeline outlined in the grant proposal. Please provide enough details in your grant proposal to adequately assess the grant request. Failure to do so will result in the proposal being denied funding. Redden Grant recipients must provide a final report describing how the FY25 grant funds were utilized to enhance undergraduate education.
