Maximizing Your (and Your Students’) Use of Citation Management Software
Wednesday, 31 January, 2018 @ All Day | Cost:Free
The Office of Faculty Development invites you to a 3pm January 31 workshop in Witters Conference Room, 4440 Booth Library, that will enhance faculty's familiarity with and use of freely available citation management tools.
Whether you are just beginning to use these tools or use them regularly for basic citation curation, the session will promote your capacity to organize, cite, collaborate on, network with, and discover research-related documents. This workshop will help faculty introduce Mendeley and Zotero to their students as well as use them for their own research. Join Kirstin Duffin and Steve Brantley of Booth Library, who have provided citation management instruction in sessions and on a one-on-one basis, for a brief introduction, a series of tips and best practices, and a discussion regarding the use of these tools across disciplines.Categories: Faculty | Faculty Development & Innovation Center | Lectures/Seminars
