Mayapple Press brought out his Open Communion: New and Selected Poems in 2004. His work has appeared in anthologies from Wayne State University Press and Milkweed Editions. He lives and writes in retirement in Central Illinois, where he enjoys volunteer work as a certified Master Naturalist. Other readers will include a local writer from the Charleston/Mattoon community as well as a graduate student in creative writing from the English Department.
