    We've all heard about Essential Oils but are you aware of all the health benefits they have? Come join us to learn more about the history of oils, how to use them,  get some great DIY recipes and learn how  to use the oils around your home. If you come tired, we have an oil that will help wake you up, and if you need help falling asleep at night, there are oils to help with that as well.  Come sample, smell and learn, it will be educational and fun.

    Booth Library faculty Steve Brantley, Kirstin Duffin and Ellen Corrigan, in cooperation with the Graduate Student Advisory Council, will again offer three Thesis Research 101 workshops.

    Thesis 101 Seminar 1: Researching the Literature with Steve Brantley will be offered from 7-8 p.m. Nov. 1 and again from 10-11 a.m. Nov. 2.

    Thesis 101 Seminar 2: Citation Management with Kirstin Duffin will be offered from 7-8 p.m. Nov. 8 and again from 10-11 a.m. Nov. 9.

    Thesis 101 Seminar 3: Presenting Your Thesis (to the World) with Ellen Corrigan will be offered from 7-8 p.m. Nov. 15 and again from 10-11 a.m. Nov. 16.

    Children ages 3 to 7 are invited to free story times in the Ballenger Teachers Center of Booth Library.

    Story times are planned from 10 to 11 a.m. on Saturdays, and each will have a specific theme. The schedule is as follows:

    - Sept. 30, Latino Heritage: Dio de los Muertos, sponsored by Latino American Student Organization;

    - Oct. 7, Disability Awareness, sponsored by Sigma Rho Epsilon;

    - Oct. 28, Halloween, sponsored by the Student Reading Council;

    - Nov. 4, Rockin’ with the Rec Club, sponsored by the EIU Rec Club;

    - Nov. 11, We are Thankful, sponsored by Kappa Delta Pi;

    - Dec. 2, Winter, sponsored by the Student Education Association.

    Programs will feature stories, crafts and activities. All children must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
