Professor Catherine Belling, who teaches in the Program in Medical Humanities and Bioethics at Northwestern University’s Feinberg School of Medicine in Chicago, will serve as the 24th Annual Phi Beta Kappa Fall Lecturer. Dr. Belling’s recent book, 'A Condition of Doubt: The Meanings of Hypochondria' (Oxford, 2012), has won the Society for Literature, Science, and the Arts Award for Best Book.
