Handshaking Night is a career exploration event for English majors, English minors, and other interested students.
Come meet and talk with professionals who work in areas that frequently employ English majors and other students from the humanities, such as writers, editors, social media specialists, librarians, attorneys, grant writers, community college teachers, college and university administrators, and English as a Second Language instructors. Representatives from the EIU M.A. in English will also be available to discuss planning for graduate school at EIU or elsewhere.
Free and open to the public. Attire is business casual.
