Bridging Voices in Our Community: (BVC) will host the 3rd Annual Bullying Conference to be held at Eastern Illinois University around the Social and Emotional Learning Standards October 11, 2013 from 8:30-4:30 on the campus of Eastern Illinois University in Charleston, IL.
Dr. Justin Patchin, Director of the Cyberbullying Research Center will be the keynote speaker. Dr. Patchin has worked with the FBI and other law enforcement agencies, as well as authoring two books and was an invited speaker at the White House. We're very lucky to have him and his expertise at this year's conference.
As the conference focuses on the Social and Emotional Learning, teachers may earn 8 CPDU's for attending the conference and School Counselors may earn NBCC credits.
