Universal Design for Learning
Wednesday, 27 March, 2013 @ 01:00 PM - 03:00 PM | Cost:Free
Have you ever ridden a bike and been grateful for those convenient dips in the curb that allow easy transitions from sidewalk to street? Then you have been the beneficiary of Universal Design (UDL). This architectural principle of improving accessibility for everyone has been introduced to the classroom. Please join us as we learn how our course content can be made more readily available to all our students.
Invited speaker/scholar Dr. Lunden MacDonald will be presenting on UDL at two times on Wednesday, March 27, at 9-11 a.m. and 1-3 p.m.; both presentations are in the Arcola-Tuscola Room of the MLK Jr. University Union.
