America’s Music: A Film History of Our Popular Music from Blues to Blue- grass to Broadway is a public program featuring documentary film screenings and scholar-led discussions of twentieth-century American popular music. Enjoy a closing program full of musical performances in EIU Doudna’s Dvorak Concert Hall. Funding for this program was provided by the National Endowment for the Humanities, Tribeca Film Institute, and the Ruth and Vaughn Jaenike Access to the Arts Outreach Program of the College of Arts & Humanities, Dr. Allen Lanham, Dean of Library Services, EIU Booth Library and Paul Johnston, Professor in the EIU Music Department, are responsible for bringing this program to EIU Booth Library.
