Chris Caldwell of DuPont Speaks to Students

Chris Caldwell, Government Affairs Manager for DuPont’s Southeast Region, will speak at 9 a.m. on Friday, Oct. 12 in Coleman Hall 1255. He will discuss, 'Where a Communication Degree Can Take You: an EIU Grad's Perspective.' The presentation is open to the public free of charge.
Caldwell is responsible for DuPont's public policy, advocacy and business development activities in six states: Virginia, Tennessee, North Carolina, South Carolina, Florida and Georgia. He previously worked in government affairs and media relations for International Paper Company and Westinghouse.
Caldwell is a 1987 graduate of Eastern Illinois University with a Bachelor of Arts in Speech Communication and a minor in Professional Writing. He is a member of the Board of Directors for the EIU Alumni Association. Caldwell is a native of Jacksonville, Illinois and now lives in Chesterfield, Virginia.Categories: Communication Studies
