2019 Autism Conference      Registration will open soon!

A conference is hosted each fall with a nationally recognized speaker who specializes in the area of autism spectrum disorders. The fall 2019 Autism Conference features Sarah Ward, CCC-SLP. Join us on Friday, September 20th from 8:30 am-3:30 pm in the University Grand Ballroom for her seminar entitled "Introduction into Executives Function Skills: See brief description below.

A Functional Understanding- Moving past the text book definition: A functional explanation of the executive function skills will be presented such that professionals can quickly identify behaviors associated with the various component/s of the executive system.

  • Understand the development of the executive control skills.
  • What skills can be expected at what age?
  • How do we define ‘Executive Dysfunction’?


In addition, seminars on numerous topics are available for:

  • Speech-Language Pathologists
  • Educational Professionals
  • Medical Professionals
  • Paraprofessionals
  • Students
  • Parents

Presentations may take place on the EIU campus for tuition or registration cost. Independent presentations can be contracted at a location off site for a negotiated fee. Half-day (three hours) or full day (five-to-six hours) seminars are available. Contact us for more information.
