Shout out to Ly'Jerrick Ward for saving the day today at Transfer Orientation! Several students were having all the issues today at registration and Ly'Jerrick swooped in and calmly solved the issues. NSFP appreciates you!

Thank you for all the hard work you put in daily! Know that it is recognized and greatly appreciated. I am grateful to have you as my "go to person" on the Teams Voice project. Your knowledge and PATIENCE have saved the day more than once. Your ability to stay calm and connect with people during the chaos is a valuable skill!!! THANKS RJ!

Preparing the publications for the Graduate Student Awards Ceremony always involves a tight time crunch. I began to feel a bit panicky about how closely the printing of the publications would align with the actual ceremony. However, my worries were unfounded. Bonita and her staff handled the publications flawlessly and even delivered them to the ceremony venue for me! Most importantly, when I called Panther Printing in a panic just hours before the ceremony because I realized I needed something extra printed before it began, Bonita remained unfazed. She assured me it would get done, and indeed it did! Thank you for doing such great work, Bonita and crew, and for being there to help me out when I messed up!!

Ryan's talent in design shines through in everything she creates for me. Once again, she made the Grad School's annual Graduate Scholar publication look amazing! What's even more impressive is her dedication to completing such a large project within such a short timeframe. Ryan also excelled in creating a new publication for our Graduate School Awards Ceremony, which was, of course, beautiful and appreciated by all who attended. Finally, when I realized in a panic that I had forgotten an exceptionally important part of a publication, Ryan saved me by quickly designing a fix that seamlessly integrated with the rest. Talk about a coworker having your back! THANK YOU, Ryan

Hosting a huge event can be exceptionally stressful, So when someone is there to help that ensures you know that one aspect is taken care of and under control, it is immensely helpful. That someone for me is Conor Baltz. Conor ensured every detail was taken care of for the Graduate Student Awards Ceremony in Dvorak--and if I had any further needs or requests, Conor and his crew were sure to help. Thank you Conor, Andrew and the others whose names I unfortunately didn't get, for setting up everything so perfectly!!

You are always helpful and willing to do what you can to make everything run smoothly. I'm very grateful for all that you do!

I wanted to make a public shout out to Lynn E Griesemer. She is not only there for the needs of the TRIO Student Support Services program, but she cares and looks out for the multitude of us in McAfee and those in need in general assistance at EIU. If she is around when injustice is happening, Lynn is going to speak up. I appreciate your looking out and your creativity!

The School of Communication and Journalism would like to give a shout out to Mallorie and her staff for all of the help they give us with awarding TSA/GIA funds! With the specialty of having two programs and four funding sources for our department it gets quite tricky and she makes that such a smooth process for us. Thank you Mallorie!

Bonita is such an asset to EIU! She is hard working helpful and pleasant,, and frequently surprises us with our print jobs done before we need them. We appreciate her so much!

Dean Keith has shown himself in just a few short months to be an asset to Booth Library. He leads from behind, and consistently encourages his faculty and staff to play to their strengths. He is gracious and thoughtful, and always strives to be a good steward of campus and library resources while pressing for innovation and growth. Booth Library is fortunate to have him at the helm. Kirstin has a knack for extreme juggling, always gracefully balancing a variety of tasks and projects while helping students and colleagues with research, facilitating exhibit partnerships in the library, and being a helping hand and supportive team member wherever she is. I'm fortunate and grateful to work with Kirstin at Booth Library. Happy National Library Workers' Day, Kirstin!

When I was transferred to Housing and Dining over 15 years ago, I was scared to be the new employee all over again. Matt Boyer made me feel welcome and was always there to answer any questions, explain any of the many new to me acronyms, conferences, anything!

He probably has no idea how much better he made the work place just by being him.

Dustin is always a positive and kind employee. He's always willing to go the extra mile and is supportive of co-workers. He's one of EIU's many great assets!

RJ went above and beyond this week to help me troubleshoot and develop a special project for my class that resulted in a meaningful high-impact educational opportunity for them. He did not have to put in as much effort as he did but his dedication to the University's mission to prepare our students is unmatched!

Lindsay is truly an asset to the Counseling Clinic. We held a successful Suicide Prevnetion Conference last week thanks to her, as she took the lead in much of planning and organizing of the event. Additionally, she has been a huge source of support for students, as she works closely with students in the counseling clinic. But, most recently she spoke with a class about grief, mental health, and counseling clinic, which was truly helpful to those students. Lindsay is greatly appreciated by myself and all her peers in the counseling clinic.

Shout out to Hope, our Human Services Graduate Assistant, for always stepping up to attend recruitment events and candidate searches. She has been a wonderful asset to our Department!

Darrin, with the help of Ross James, and Jim Ealy, did an amazing job of transforming the Housing departments, East storage barn from a cluster of new & old inventory items haphazardly thrown together, to an organized & functional space that is substantially more user friendly. Inventory that would have otherwise been thrown away was repurposed for the project and that is a win for everybody. They worked quickly & efficiently to get the job done in a timely manner, which speaks volumes of their work ethic. Thank you for the great job, Gentlemen.

Theresa Nelson is a valuable addition to EIU. She is a bsw in housing/dining. Her attention to detail and her her work ethic are apparent in the results of her efforts to help keep EIU looking great. She is always willing to help others and her positive attitude is contagious. (she even once caught a bat with her bare hands). Keep up the good work!
