2022 Heritage Society Reception

The Heritage Society recognizes Eastern supporters who have generously provided an estate or planned gift commitment. Honored members of the Heritage Society will gather for a celebratory dinner on Friday, October 14 that will feature a presentation by EIU President Dr. David Glassman.
The festivities will take place in conjunction with EIU's Homecoming celebration.
The 2022 Homecoming Weekend schedule will be as follows:
Friday, October 14
4 pm Campus Tour: Enjoy a riding tour around campus and experience firsthand all the exciting changes that have been taking place over the last 50 years.
4:30 pm Heritage Society Social Reception: MLK Jr. University Union; University Ballroom. Join together with fellow alumni and Heritage Society members. Host bar (beer and wine) available.
5 pm Heritage Society Pinning Ceremony: MLK Jr. University Union; University Ballroom
The Heritage Society honors individuals who made the commitment to support the University through planned gifts. Each individual will be called forward to receive his or her society pins.
5:30 pm Heritage Society Dinner: MLK Jr. University Union; University Ballroom $10 a ticket
6:00 pm Tribute Donor Recognition: MLK Jr. University Union; Grand Ballroom
Please join the Office of University Advancement for our exclusive event to honor the benefactors who inspire greatness here at EIU. A social hour will begin at 6:00 pm the program will start at 6:30 pm. The EIU Foundation will be presenting the Philanthropist of the Year award.
Saturday, October 15
9:30 am Homecoming parade: 6th Street and 7th Street
11:00 am Alumni Tailgate at Tent City: Behind O'Brien Stadium. Enjoy Tent City tailgating and stop by the Alumni tent prior to the kick-off!
2 pm Homecoming Football Game: O'Brien Field EIU hosts Tennessee State for the Homecoming Football Game. Game ticket $25
6 pm Alumni Awards Dinner: MLK Jr. University Union Grand Ballroom Join us as the Alumni Association honors our Alumni during the 2021 Alumni Awards Dinner $45 a ticket.
