FAQs for Prospective Online Students


How do I apply to a program? 

Eastern's application is accessible from our website, or we can mail a paper application if preferred. Anyone who previously attended Eastern will not be required to pay the $30 application fee, if they matriculated, as that is a one-time fee. Returning students can mark the fee waiver on the last screen.

In addition to the application, please send the official transcripts from all the colleges and universities that the applicant attended.

Are these accredited programs? 

Yes. They are accredited by the North Central Association of the Commission on Higher Learning.

What are the requirements for admission?

It is recommended that a prospective student have 60 hours of earned college credit at the time of application.

How much does it cost?

Fees include:
~ $30 application fee
~ Tuition costs
~ Off-campus classes include a continuing education fee of $44 per semester hour
~ Textbook rental fee of $9.95 per hour
