- Professor Joe Gisondi's book, MonsterTrek: The Obsessive Search for Bigfoot, will be published in 2016. He is also the executive director of the Illinois Community College Press Association.
- Professor Lola Burnham is the secretary/treasurer of the Illinois College Press Association.
- Dr. Liz Viall, instructor, is the division head for the Participatory Journalism Interest Group in the Association for Education in Journalism and Mass Communication.
