What I like about working in the SRC: the hands on experience that I will need to further my career working in the sports administration field. I like to handle the daily operations of the recreation center and the other spaces in the building where people practice and play sports. Most importantly, I like the interaction with the patrons that enter the building and fostering those relationships. 

 

My future job: I want to open my own recreation facilities for students in low-income neighborhoods by providing the resources and skills to not only improve in their performance in their perspective sport but also providing workshops for mental and emotional health, job training, coding, etc. I also want to work for a major sports team as the Director of Operations for facilities or a Senior Director for player engagement.
