Dr. Gruber served the psychology department for 28 years! He regularly taught courses in Psychotherapy, Cognitive Assessment, Abnormal Psychology, Psychology of Dreaming, and Health Psychology and was a member of the Master's in Clinical Psychology graduate faculty. He supervised numerous graduate student theses and many undergraduate student researchers. Dr. Gruber had research interests in the Functions of Dreaming, Social Fields, Intuition, Parapsychology, and Mind-Body Health issues. Upon his retirement from EIU in 2019, he left the midwest for new adventures in Hawaii!
