Digital Initiatives Coordinator

As the Digital Initiatives Coordinator for Booth Library, I support education relatedto digital scholarship and the digital humanities. I also help to coordinate the Center for Student Innovation. I actively develop workshops and other programming related to digital scholarship, and I am available to support students and faculty with questions related to digital technologies in research, learning, and teaching. I am also available for in-class presentations on a wide range of topics.

I'm always happy to talk through questions or problems you may have related to technology and your research. I have experience and knowledge in areas related to text mining/analysis, working with data of all types and sizes across the full data lifecycle, and many critical/theoretical issues related to the digital humanities, computational social sciences, and digital scholarship more generally. Instructor, Department of History

I am excited to be joining the History department as an instructor, teaching two classes each semester. Particular areas of interest include American religious history, 20th-century social and political history, and digital history.

My current project is a study of Midwestern and rural conceptualizations of religion, especially from the mid-19th through the mid-20th centuries.
