Robert Shamdin is the President and Chief Operating Officer of Mattoon Precision Manufacturing, Inc. in Mattoon, IL. He received his Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Iowa State University in 1986 and his Master of Business Administration from the University of Illinois in 2000. Mr. Shamdin was the General Manager of Technical Services at Mattoon Precision Manufacturing from 1993 to 1998. In 1998, he became the Vice President of Mattoon Precision Manufacturing, Inc., and he served in that capacity until 2000 when he became the President of Mattoon Precision Manufacturing, Inc. In the past, Mr. Shamdin has served as the President of Mitsubishi Motors Manufacturing North America’s Supplier Advisory Council. Mr. Shamdin currently serves as an Executive Champion and Manufacturing Representative to Toyota Motors Manufacturing’s Bluegrass Automotive Manufacturer’s Association. Mr. Shamdin also serves as a board member and local business representative to Coles Together economic development organization of Coles County, Illinois
