Vice President of Supply Chain for The Knapheide Manufacturing Company

INTRODUCTION

Nathan is the Vice President of Supply Chain for The Knapheide Manufacturing Company, a 174 year old family owned business that is the leading provider of work-ready vehicle solutions and services in North America, headquartered in Quincy, Illinois.  He is responsible for the corporate purchasing, inbound and outbound transportation, supplier quality, and factory production planning and inventory management organizations.

With more than 24 years of experience in manufacturing and supply chain, Nathan has spent the last 7 years leading and building Knapheide’s supply chain organization as the company expands.  Before Knapheide, he has held progressive manufacturing and supply chain roles at Caterpillar, JLG Industries and Ingersoll-Rand.  During his time at Caterpillar he led teams in international facility construction and expansions for Global Mining and the supporting supply chains, as well as became certified in both DMEDI and DMAIC Six Sigma Black Belt disciplines.

He holds a B.S. in Industrial Technology and M.S. in Manufacturing Sciences from Eastern Illinois University and is also currently an Advisory Board member for the Salvation Army and the United Way of Adams County.
