Born and raised in Mattoon, Cory is a 2005 graduate of Mattoon High School. He has lived in Charleston since around 2008 which coincided with starting his undergraduate at EIU. He and his wife and dog still live in Charleston in the Heritage Woods subdivision. Cory is a 2-time graduate from EIU and a 3rd generation graduate of EIU. In 2011, he started at North American Lighting (NAL) as a temporary operator who was still trying to find a “forever job” & interviewing at other places. Once their H.R. department found out he had a Business Degree from EIU, they asked him to interview for a supervisory position. Flash forward 11 years, and Cory now works in the Corporate Office as AGM of Corporate Production Control. In his free time, he loves to play golf, watch English Premiere League soccer, and hang out with his wife and dog.
