Lesson 1: Niagara Falls Introduction
Goals: The goal of this lesson was to introduce Niagara Falls to the students. This lesson will give the students key facts and information about Niagara Falls and provide a jumping off point for the rest of the unit.
Objectives: Using the new facts that they have just learned about Niagara Falls the students created an advertisement for Niagara Falls with pictures and at least two facts about Niagara Falls.

Lesson 2: Seneca Indians
Goals: The goal of this lesson was to teach the students about the indigenous people of Niagara Falls and what legends they left behind.

Objectives: From this lesson the students know more about the legend of the Maid of the Mist and will have learned more about a historic culture and their stories that have been passed down many generations.
Lesson 3:Origin of Niagara Falls
Goals:The goal of this lesson was to teach the students about key dates and events that have shaped Niagarar Falls into what we know it as today.
Objectives:As a result of this lesson the students will put together a timeline otulining important events that have taken place at Niagara Falls.
Lesson 4: Water Movement
Goals:The goal of this lesson is to teach the students about how the water going over Niagara Falls moves with a better understanding of rapids, gorges, hydroelectricity and whirlpools
Objectives: As a result of this lesson the students will get to see how a whirlpool works by watching and feeling a homemade whirlpool.

Lesson 5: The Fish of Niagara Falls and the Fishing Industry
Goals:From this lesson the students  learned about what fish inhabit the Niagara area. The students learned the fish names and characterisitcs. Also the students learned about how the fish of Niagara and the Great Lakes help support the people of Niagara and their economy.
Objectives:
As a result of this lesson the students were able to match a picture of a Niagara fish to it's correct name.
Lesson 6: Trip to Niagara!
Goals: In this lesson the student learned about what they could do or see at Niagara Falls if they went to the park today.
Objectives: As a result of this lesson the students will write a journal response discussing what they would like to do if they had the chance to visit Niagara Falls.
