WiSM exists to serve as a resource for young women pursuing careers in the Sciences and Mathematics at EIU.

Mission Statement

Recruit and retain women students in sciences and mathematics. Mentor and provide stewardship to women sciences and mathematics majors for advanced degrees and career tracks.
