Ongoing Opportunities in...
Developmental Disabilities

Work with those who are different from you! Volunteer with local organizations to make a difference in the lives of people with developmental disabilities and take the chance to learn something new about yourself.

Camp New Hope

Camp New Hope, Inc. is a non-profit organization founded by families of people with developmental disabilities. The camp runs some of the best recreational programs available for those with special needs. Volunteers built Camp New Hope, and volunteer opportunities are plentiful here. Many people volunteer to be a "friend for the day" and find themselves wanting to come back again and again.

Volunteers are needed to work with campers on Saturdays. A volunteer form is available in the Office of Student Community Service for this opportunity.
