Welcome

The Vehicle is the student-run and student-produced literary magazine of Eastern Illinois University. We welcome submissions from new and emerging writers at EIU and beyond. We are grateful for financial support from Student Publications at EIU and for advising and office support through the EIU English Department.

After a long period of technical difficulties, The Vehicle  is back online. Over the summer of 2018, we will be working on restoring our archives of online issues, and in fall 2018 we hope to add an archive of print issues as well. So if you are a former contributor wondering where your publications went, thank you for your patience; we hope to restore your wonderful words to the world soon.
