The Society of Manufacturing Engineers Messmore Scholarship was established in the Spring Semester 1999 by Decatur Chapter 58, Society of Manufacturing Engineers (SME).  This award is presented to a student who shows outstanding promise of success and services in the field of industrial technology.

The Society of Manufacturing Engineers Service Award is presented to a student who has provided outstanding service and leadership to the Student Chapter of the Society of Manufacturing Engineers at Eastern Illinois University.

The John Henry ASQ Award is provided by the American Society for Quality (ASQ) Central Illinois Section.  Three scholarships are awarded to outstanding  undergraduate students from three universities, including EIU, ISU and UIUC.  The scholarship was established to honor the late professor, John Henry of UIUC, who pioneered the quality study and quality movement in the United States.

The Residential Construction Employers Council Scholarship is given to a student in the School of Technology who has a concentration in construction.  The recipient is selected by the Residential Construction Employers Council Scholarship Committee.

The Lumpkin College of Business and Applied Sciences Dean's Student Advisory Board Faculty Excellence Award recipient is selected and awarded by the Dean's Student Advisory Board to a faculty member in the School of Technology.

The School of Technology Alumni Scholarship was established  in 1987 from funds donated by the School of Technology alumni during the telefund drives which are conducted each year.  This award is given to a senior or graduate student pursuing a master's degree and showing outstanding promise of success in the field of technology.

The Roy E. Ehrsam Scholarship was established in 1979 by Florence Hart, sister of Roy E. Ehrsam.  Mr. Ehrsam was a postman in this area for a number of years.  He also worked as a carpenter and developed an intense interest in educating people for technical careers.  This award is presented to a junior or senior technology education or industrial technology major who shows outstanding promise of success in the field of technology.

The Charles A. Elliott Technology Education Award was established in 1973 by Dr. Elliott who was a member of the School of Technology faculty from 1945 to 1973.  This award is presented to a technology education major who has completed 60 semester hours of credit and shows outstanding promise of success in the field of technology education.

The Lois E. Elliott Industrial Technology Scholarship was established in 1992 by Mrs. Lois Elliott and is given to a major in technology education or industrial technology who has completed 60 semester hours of credit.  This award is given in recognition of a student's outstanding promise of success in the field of technology.  Mrs. Elliott loves students and looks forward to the spring awards program, and she adjusts her vacation schedule around those dates.

The Kenneth and Keith Kohanzo Industrial Technology Scholarship was established in 1998 by Kenneth Kohanzo.  Mr. Kenneth Kohanzo retired from a career in the marketing of industrial technology products in the Chicago area and values  the importance of engineers and technologists within the business and industrial community.  This award will be presented annually to a major in industrial technology who has completed 60 semester hours of credit and shows outstanding promise of success in the field of technology.

The Walter A. Klehm Industrial Technology Award was established in 1976 by Dr. Walter A. Klehm, former Chair of the Industrial Arts Department from 1938 to 1970, when he became Dean of the School of Industrial Arts and Technology until his retirement.  This award is given to a major in industrial technology who has completed a minimum of 30 semester hours of credit  and in recognition of outstanding promise of success in the field of technology.

The Lucille M. Klehm Technology Education Award was established in 1986 by Dr. Walter A. Klehm in honor of his wife.  Mrs. Klehm has been a long standing supporter of the School of Technology.  This award is given to a major in technology education who has completed at least 30 semester hours of credit and who shows outstanding promise of success as a teacher of technology education.

The Messer Family Scholarship in Technology was established by John and Margaret Messer. This award is for declared majors in Industrial Technology, Technology Education or an equivalent degree program. Students must have completed a minimum of 15 semester hours at EIU, including at least two courses in the major. A minimum 2.75 major GPA is required. Recipients must be in good academic standing with University and demonstrate potential to excel in his/her chosen career. Preference is given to first generation college students.

The Harold Dean Fildes Scholarship was established in 1999 by Jean F. & Foster C. Rinefort as a memorial to Jean's late husband and School of Technology graduate, Harold Dean Fildes. The recipient must be a full or part-time undergraduate student in the School of Technology with an overall GPA of 3.0 and a significant need for financial aid.

The Lillian R. Greathouse Scholarship was established in 2002 by Lillian R. Greathouse. This award is made to an incoming freshman, majoring in Career and Technical Education, in the top 20% of his/her high school graduating class.

Dr. James D. Price Delta Chi Business Education Scholarship was established by Helen Price in memory of her son. This award goes to a member in good standing of the Delta Chi Fraternity who is majoring in Career and Technical Education with an emphasis in Business Education.

The Robert N and Barbara V Sullivan Scholarship was established in 1988 by the sons of Robert N and Barbara V Sullivan. This award is given to an undergraduate Career and Technical Education major with an emphasis in Business Education who qualifies for financial aid. The award is renewable. Dr. Robert Sullivan served as Chair of the Business Education Department at EIU.

The William Craig Simmons Memorial Scholarship was established by the Simmons family. This award is given to a junior Business major with outstanding character, scholastic achievement and interest in business and business education.

The David L and Audrey Jorns Business Education Scholarship was established in 1994 by David L and Audrey Jorns. This award is given to juniors or seniors with majors in Career and Technical Education with an emphasis in Business Education. The recipient must have a GPA of at least 3.3 and work for one half of the cost of their education. Dr. David Jorns served as Eastern's seventh President and Mrs. Jorns is an EIU graduate.

The National Business Education Association Award of Merit is presented an outstanding business education graduate in the teacher education program. The recipient is selected because of their outstanding performance while an undergraduate student, and for their potential to be an outstanding business teacher. The recipient is awarded one-year free membership in the National Business Education Association.

The Caroline A. Forbes Centennial Scholarship will be awarded annually to an incoming freshman enrolled in the School of Technology. Selection will be based upon academic achievement and financial need. A minumum of $500 will be awarded annually.
